Traveling to the Start
The start of the race is in the Casimir Pulaski State Park in West Glocester, RI. Directions to the start will be available in the Race Handbook distributed 30 days prior to the event. The start is 1.5 hours from Boston MA, 50 minutes from Providence RI, and 1.5 hours from Hartford CT. The finish is 1.25 hours north of Boston, and 1 hour from Manchester, NH. If you are traveling from out of town, we recommend flying into/out of Boston Logan Airport and staying near the start the night before the event.

Van Rental
For your comfort, 12 or 15 passenger vans will be the best vehicles on the race course. Such vehicles can be hard to come by. Below is a list of reputable van rental companies in the New England Area who have a fleet of such vehicles. Should you not be able to get to one of these locations, or should they sell out, the next best option would be large SUVs or mini-vans. You can rent usually these from any car rental company (i.e. Enterprise, Avis, Budget, Alamo, etc).

Sleeping on the Course
We have two major transition areas in the middle of the night that are appropriate for outdoor sleeping (i.e. sleeping bags and tents) or parking your van and sleeping inside the van. However, if you would like arrange hotel rooms, we recommend booking in Manchester NH, which is directly on the course and has plenty of accommodation options.

After the Event
The Kittery, ME / Portsmouth, NH coast has much to offer in terms of tourism. If possible, we recommend you spend some time in the area after the event. For more information on things to do and places to stay, visit the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce website.
